Ertugral upbeat despite defeat

Cape Town - Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral is looking to the positives ahead of the new season, following his side's 2-0 defeat to Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday.

The newly appointed coach was made to endure a disappointing afternoon as Amakhosi claimed the spoils with a 2-0 victory at FNB Stadium.

The Buccaneers didn't produce the best of performances, but Ertugral is confident his side's performances and results will improve once their new signings start gelling with the rest of the squad.

"The guys need to get used to us as a technical team," Ertugral told reporters. "I think in the future this game should be played a week before the league starts because it will help us look at what we have ahead of the season.

"I have looked at what we have and how we play and there is still a lot to learn from this game.

"We have new players and old ones who need to gel but its a good start."
