Cape Town - Muhsin Ertugral admits that the quality of Orlando Pirates showed as Mpumalanga Black Aces slumped to a 3-1 defeat.
The Buccaneers opened the scoring as early as the fourth minute as Thabo Rakhale fired home after getting on the end of cross into the area, although Black Aces were level eight minutes later as Collins Mbesuma smartly fired home.
Pirates dominated much of the game, both before and after half-time, and were eventually rewarded for their efforts with 20 minutes remaining as Tendai Ndoro's effort found its way into the back of the net after the slightest of touches from Gift Motupa.
Ndoro would get his own name on the scoresheet in the final moments, with the substitute capping off an impressive display from the visitors with a cool finish past the goalkeeper.
“It was a lesson for us today,” said the Aces coach as quoted by KickOff.
“The quality of Pirates today, the movement in the midfield off the ball, the precision of their play, we were always on the back foot.
“Our midfield against their midfield had no chance, we were much too slow in build-up processes, they were so quick in their build-up and off the ball.
