Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral is well pleased with his side's overall showing in the 2015/16 campaign.

The former Ajax Cape Town coach guided Amazayoni to their highest ever finish in the history of the Premiership, after finishing fourth with 47 points from 30 matches this season.

"I am really proud of what the boys did this year and I feel we have reason to be all happy at the club," Ertugral told KickOff.

"If at the beginning of the season anybody said Black Aces would finish fourth then that would have been thought of as being wishful thinking.

"However, I actually told management when we sat at the beginning of the season that we will make it into the top five but they laughed it off.

"They just told me that considering the changes that had happened at the club they would be happy if the team stays away from the relegation areas with 40 points being the target."
