Ertugral: I am not happy

Cape Town - Muhsin Ertugral says Orlando Pirates failed to impress him despite defeating Ajax Cape Town 2-1 at Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Ertugral, who took over the reins at the Soweto giants during the off-season, has overseen two wins in his opening two Premiership fixtures, but warned his side they need to improve both defensively and in the final third of the pitch.

For large stages of the game the Urban Warriors had the Buccaneers chasing shadows and it eventually paid off through a goal from Nathan Paulse, but an early second-half brace from Tendai Ndoro was enough to see off the home side.

"You can see from my body language that I am not happy," he said after the game.

"We should have had another goal in the first half, but also you cannot come here and play a certain type of football.

"We knew that Nathan would make those runs and how positioning was not good enough. After that we were under so much pressure, we could not get our foot on the ball.

"There were a lot of balls pumped into our area but we survived. Also, some of our internationals today had heavy legs, you never really know how they will go after such a long break [in the league]."
