Cape Town - Mpumalanga Black Aces coach Muhsin Ertugral has complimented Orlando Pirates counterpart Eric Tinkler on reaching the CAF Confederation Cup final.
The Buccaneers face Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel at Orlando Stadium on Saturday in the first of two legs, and Ertugral believes Tinkler can lead the team to victory.
"As far as the approach and tactical game-plan is concerned, it wouldn't be fair for me to comment from outside because I believe Eric Tinkler and his technical team have done a tremendous job," the Turk told Soccer Laduma.
"We all have to respect their vision and I'm pretty sure that they will select the best players, and come with the right tactical plan, organisation and pattern.
"They’ve done really well because their road to the final wasn't easy at all, but look what they've achieved!
"They really didn't have it easy at all, so Eric has proven that they have what it takes to win this trophy. I'm quite convinced that they know what to do in order to win."
No South African club has ever won the tournament, but Pirates did win the CAF Champions League back in 1995.
Etoile have a much stronger history in the Confederation Cup, having won in 2006 and finished as runners-up in 2008.
Kick-off is at 20:00.
