Cape Town - SuperSport United captain Dean Furman expressed his disappointment following a 2-2 draw with Polokwane City in the Absa Premiership on Sunday.
Matsatsantsa relinquished their lead as Tshepo Matsemela equalized at the death to secure a share of the spoils at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Dove Wome had opened the scoring for United, before Esau Kanyenda equalized for Rise and Shine just after the hour mark.
Furman gave United the lead once again with a memorable half-volley, only for Matsemela's late strike to restore parity.
"It feels like two points were dropped. Taking the lead twice and then letting the other team back in unfortunately for us," Furman told KickOff.
"(But) we can take a lot of positives. We said we have five cup finals, two more in the league and two more in the cup. It is about getting recovered and focused for Wednesday night's game (against Mpumalanga Black Aces).
"The mood in the dressing room is excellent, but obviously we are disappointed to have dropped two points today. We have showed in the past how we come back in games."
Matsatsantsa sit eighth in the league standings with two games to go and will be aiming to consolidate their position when Mpumalanga Black Aces visit the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday evening.
