Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson says you can't compare Denis Onyango to Kaizer Chiefs star Itumeleng Khune as they have different styles.
The big debate in South African football in recent times has been whether Onyango has overtaken Khune as the best goalkeeper playing in the country.
For years Khune has been widely recognised as the undisputed number one in terms of keepers, however, the Brazilians' shot-stopper has impressed with his displays in the CAF Champions League in particular.
Nonetheless, Robinson said he did not feel comfortable comparing the pair, saying: "I wouldn't comment about who is better between him and Khune, they're both fantastic goalkeepers.
"The reality is that keepers have different styles and some might not like them, but the most important factor is they're both doing well for their clubs and countries, I can't really say who is better between the two."
The 46-year-old added that the upcoming Premiership match against Orlando Pirates on Monday could be important in the outcome of the league race.
He concluded: "It won't be an easy game, and it would be premature for us to think whoever wins on the night will be league champions, there are so many points to play for.
"From the top to Kaizer Chiefs, anyone can still win it, we will just have to fight."
Kick-off is at 19:30.
