'Downs, Chiefs learn CAF fate

Cape Town - The draw has been completed for the 2016 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup campaigns, with a number of interesting ties lined up in the preliminary rounds.

Mamelodi Sundowns will face Chicken Inn of Zimbabwe in the preliminary round of the Champions League, while Kaizer Chiefs have been paired with Comoros-based side Volcan de Moroni.

In the Confederation Cup, Ajax Cape Town lock horns with Angolan outfit GD Sagrada Esperança, while Bidvest Wits have been paired with Seychelles.

The first-leg ties of the preliminary round will take place on 12, 13, 14 February 2016, with the return legs scheduled for 26, 27, 28 February 2016.

CAF Champions League preliminary round:

Volcan de Moroni v Kaizer Chiefs
Chicken Inn v Mamelodi Sundowns

CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round:

GD Sagrada Esperança v Ajax Cape Town
Seychelles v Bidvest Wit
