Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs have been boosted by the news that Keagan Buchanan and Siphiwe Tshabalala have returned to full training after their injuries.
'Shabba' underwent a minor knee operation in pre-season and has been steadily making his way back to full contact training.
Meanwhile, Buchanan has recently returned to full training after finally recovering from a long-term knee problem he picked up while playing for Bloemfontein Celtic.
The return of the duo will no doubt come as a boost to Steve Komphela - Chiefs have lacked imagination in the final third and both players have the ability to provide some spark in that department.
Nonetheless, the Glamour Boys confirmed the pair were back in full training and were expected to be considered for their next league encounter against Platinum Stars on September 14.
A statement from the Soweto giants read: "'Keags' is relishing the prospects of donning his number 10 Gold and Black jersey, while the Amakhosi faithful are waiting in anticipation for his first appearance in an official match.
"Siphiwe 'Shabba' Tshabalala has recovered. 'Shabba' is involved in full training and is also participating in practice matches."
