Cape Town - Haashim Domingo insists he joined Wits "to win titles" and believes Gavin Hunt is the perfect coach to help him achieve that.
The Ajax Cape Town youth product returned to these shores in the off-season after a three-and-a-half-year spell in Portugal with Vitoria Guimaraes.
Domingo has been a regular feature for Hunt's side in the opening three months of the new campaign as they sit pretty at the top of the Premiership table.
The 23-year-old forward has played in seven of their nine league games to date, although he has yet to find the back of the net for his new club.
Domingo was also a target for domestic rivals Cape Town City during the transfer window but admits the lure of working with Hunt proved decisive.
"To be honest I had a few options to go with, but I decided to go with Wits as they are an ambitious club," the Capetonian told KickOff.
"They also have a champion coach in Gavin Hunt and this is another factor. His success rate as a coach made my decision easy, you know.
"The coach is also very old-school but not in a bad way. The coach knows exactly what he wants from his players. Coach Gavin teaches you how to win, not just how to play.
"I think that's why I came back... to win titles, not just finish among the top-eight clubs. So yeah, after the first few months I have no regrets and I know I made the right choice."
