Dolly: I'm very proud of myself

Pretoria - Mamelodi Sundowns winger Keagan Dolly admits that the 2015/16 campaign has been the best season so far in his career , as he was part of the Brazilians team that clinched a record seventh Absa Premiership title.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Pretoria giants in July last year following a two-year spell at Ajax Cape Town and has since played an instrumental role in Sundowns' cup double success.

Notably, Dolly scored eleven goals in all competitions this season, and he could still add to his tally when Sundowns face Platinum Stars in their last league game of the season on Saturday.

“Looking back to where I started, I’m very proud of myself,” said Dolly.

“I have played three seasons up to so far in the Premier Soccer League and I only managed three goals in a season before joining Sundowns.

“But I managed to score eleven goals on my first season playing for a big team.

“I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I got and I wouldn’t be able to achieve this without my teammates and also the backing of the supporters and the technical staff.”
