Cape Town - Goodman Dlamini is set for a return to the Premiership after leaving National First Division side Amazulu at the end of last season.

The veteran midfielder has been training with Free State Stars over the pre-season period and has reportedly impressed head coach Denis Lavagne, who looks set to bolster his midfield options before their derby with Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday.

Sizwe Ntshangase, the agent of the former Usuthu player remained mum on the speculation but confirmed they are in talks with Ea Lla Koto.

"I cannot say much except that they called on Friday," he told KickOff website. "I hope by tomorrow we will have something concrete."

Dlamini has scored 25 goals and registered 15 assists in 174 top-flight appearances.
