Dikwena ready to silence Cape Town City

Cape Town - Platinum Stars assistant coach Alan Clark says the team will be up for the challenge of taking on high-flying Cape Town City in the Premiership on Thursday.

Dikwena trounced Eric Tinkler's side 4-0 in December and will no doubt hope for a repeat performance at the Moruleng Stadium.

Stars have won three of their last five league encounters and also are enjoying a good run in the cup competitions.

Clark said: "It's a big game for us. Cape Town City are up there. They are competing for a new brand. They have done well for themselves.

"We were very good the last time we played against them. It's important for us to find that form again.

"This year we have been very good. Our performances have been good. If we can bring that level of performance against Cape Town City, I can't see why we can't be on the side of a good result."

The Citizens are second in the table having not lost in the league since late December.

Kick off is at 18:00.
