Cape Town - Stellenbosch FC will most likely face a fired-up Kaizer Chiefs when the two teams clash in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday.
Amakhosi have opened up a ten-point lead at the top of the league standings but were dumped out of the Telkom Knockout by Maritzburg United after a 2-1 defeat at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.
The Soweto giants have though been in superb form in the Absa Premiership as they have taken maximum points from their last six matches.
Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi will be back in the selection frame after serving a suspension but number-one shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune is also back in training.
Midfielder Kearyn Baccus could also make his return from an ankle problem that has kept him out since October, but defender Erick Mathoho will sit out the second game of his suspension.
Stellies, meanwhile, will know their supporters will be outnumbered in the stands but will look to upset another Soweto giant as they did to Orlando Pirates earlier in the season.
Head coach Steve Barker said: "We showed that we are a team that has spirit and fight, are resilient, is hard to beat and is difficult for any opponent.
"We have become a team that no-one wants to play against because they know they will have to play really well to beat us."
The Cape Winelands club currently sit third from bottom in what is their maiden season in South Africa's top-flight having collected 11 points from 11 games.
The game will take place at the Cape Town Stadium and kick-off is at 19:30 on Wednesday.
