De Sa set for Maritzburg?

Cape Town - Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has been quoted as saying he made an offer to Roger De Sa for the vacant head coach position.

The Former Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits coach is currently available after parting ways with the Urban Warriors two months ago, while the Team of Choice recently split with Ernst Middendorp.

The Daily Sun quoted Kadodia as confirming the club's interest when he stated: "I have made the coach an offer and I'm waiting on him to accept."

De Sa is also reportedly being considered as a candidate for the Bafana Bafana job, although a source told the Daily Sun that the deal with United is a certainty.

"It's a done deal, De Sa will be in charge when the team goes into the January recess," the source said.
