De Sa not scared of Chiefs

Cape Town - Ajax Cape Town coach Roger de Sa says his side will lift their performance levels when they take on Kaizer Chiefs in Saturday's Premiership encounter at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

It has been a slow start to the season for the Urban Warriors after picking up two losses and two draws in their opening four matches.

Meanwhile, Chiefs are one of the in-form sides in the league following a run of three league victories in a row under coach Steve Komphela to see them sitting top of the Premiership table.

In addition, the Glamour Boys recently won the Macufe Cup after demolishing Bloemfontein Celtic 4-1, and appear to be buzzing with confidence at the moment.

With that said, De Sa believes his team will be more than up for the contest when they take on Amakhosi in Durban.

He told the club's official website, "We always raise our game against the 'so-called big teams'. A lot of players have put their hands up, that's all you can ask for."

Ajax are boosted by the news that defender Rivaldo Coetzee and striker Prince Nxumalo have resumed full training after recovering from injury and illness respectively.

The Urban Warriors take on Amaokosi on Saturday, October 15 with kick-off at 18:00.
