Cape Town - Danish Superliga club Aarhus GF are delighted with the signing of Gift Links from Cape Town City, saying the winger will give his new team "another offensive dimension".
The Citizens announced on Sunday they have accepted a club record fee for the transfer of the 20-year-old, but no amount was given.
Links only spent one full season in the Mother City and impressed so much that he earned a Bafana call-up and now a move to Europe.
Aarhus' sporting director Peter Christiansen has no doubt that the player will be a good acquisition.
"Link's talent is undeniable." Christiansen told the Aarhus' official website.
"He is a really skilled dribbler and he plays, despite his relatively young age, with great maturity.
"He is an explosive player and can be very direct in his game, and so he needs very little space around him on the last third of the pitch, where he will give us another offensive dimension."
Christiansen also believes Links will have no problem adjusting to the style of the play and integration into his new team.
The Aarhus sporting director was a team-mate of Sibusiso Zuma when the former Bafana international was starring for another Danish side, FC Copenhagen, in the early 2000s.
Christiansen went on: "We do not expect any great and long period of adjustment for him.
"The South Africans I have played and worked with in the past have been easy to integrate and their positivity, humility and great passion for the game are infectious all around."
Links will wear the number 11 jersey at his new club.
