Cape Town - Absa Premiership side Cape Town City on Wednesday announced the departure of Riyaad Norodien and Mark Mayambela after the termination of their contracts by mutual agreement.
The club who have gone through a disappointing first-half of the season - leading to the sacking of head coach Benni McCarthy - have now streamlined their squad.
Mayambela leaves after just four months in Cape Town having just joined the club on October 1, 2019 as a firm favourite of then head coach McCarthy.
Norodien made 37 appearances, scoring four goals with one assist since joining from Orlando Pirates in June 2018.
"We thank them for their service to the club and wish them all the best for the next chapter," the club said.
City winger Shaquille Abrahams has joined Cape Umoya FC on loan until the end of the season. The Club has also parted ways with Riyaad Norodien and Mark Mayambela.
