Cape Town - Cape Town City Nigerian striker Victor Obinna is back in training after a three week injury absence, the club confirmed.
Obinna picked up a hamstring injury in the 1-0 win over Free State Stars on November 1 and has been sidelined since.
However, due to the international break, he has only missed two games for the Citizens, both of which ended in draws.
The 30-year-old former West Ham marksman could now be in line to feature in City's next game; a home clash with struggling Maritzburg United on December 5.
"Victor Obinna resumes full training this week after successfully recovering from an injury which kept him side-lined for over 3 weeks!" the Cape club confirmed on Twitter.
Coach Benni McCarthy also has winger Aubrey Ngoma back from injury; his options in attack suddenly looking a lot better.
