Cape Town - Cape Town City chairman John Comitis has explained exactly what it is that former midfielder Teko Modise will be doing in his new role at the club.
Modise confirmed his retirement at the end of the 2018/19 campaign before taking up the position of the club's Executive Public Relations Officer and Comitis has unpacked what the role entails.
"Teko is working, he has already started," Comitis told KickOff.
"He is the Executive PRO, public relations in terms of matters of sponsors and the technical matters. He is an all-rounder in every aspect. He goes to the fans, becomes an ambassador, we are very happy with him you know.
"He gets involved in all the main issues regarding the club, and you know he will also assist me on the technical direction of the club.
"He was busy with the AFCON, he just finished with that and he's resuming his duties today back in Cape Town."
City start off their Absa Premiership campaign away to Baroka FC on Saturday, August 3.
