Coetzee thrilled to be back in training after recovering from injury

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rivaldo Coetzee is delighted to be back in training after recovering from his long-term injuries ahead of schedule.

The 23-year-old was on the sidelines for nine months with a foot injury, and then suffered another blow last year when a tackle from Mogamad De Goede gave him a nasty leg injury.

Despite the setbacks Coetzee remains as optimistic and enthusiastic as ever and is eager to contribute to the Masandawana cause once football returns.

"It's good to be back to being part of the team for the daily training sessions. I am just hoping to get stronger from here," he said, according to the official Mamelodi Sundowns website.

"There are a few things I need to work on and I am looking forward to doing that. I want to help the team as much as possible."
