Cape Town - Chippa United have confirmed the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs striker Bongani Ndulula on a three-year deal.
Chippa Mpengese, chairman of the Chilli Boys, confirmed the signing of the player on a free transfer, following his release by the Naturena-based outfit.
"We have completed the signing of Bongani Ndulula. We signed him as a free agent. It was not a deal between us and Chiefs," Mpengese was quoted as saying by Soccer Laduma.
"Dan (Malesela) knows how to revive the careers of players. You have seen that with players like Mark Mayambela and others. Ndulula is a good player.
"We are happy to welcome one of our own from the Eastern Cape to the club. It’s always good to have our own from the province in the team. He is 26-years-old and we have signed him on a three-year deal,' Mpengesi concluded.
Ndulula made a total of five appearances for the Glamour Boys in all competitions last season and is expected to spearhead the attack of a new-look Chippa United outfit next season.
