Chippa look to bounce back from City defeat

Port Elizabeth - Chippa United head coach Teboho Moloi has withdrawn his utterances made against Kaizer Chiefs during a post-match interview after their Telkom Knockout quarter-final defeat.

The Chilli Boys suffered a slender 1-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs in what was a thrill-a-minute encounter.

"I would like to withdraw the comments I made against Kaizer Chiefs in relation to my playing days (for Orlando Pirates between 1987-1992)," Moloi said in reference to the comments he made during post-match interviews.

"The statement was made in the heat of the moment."

Chippa return to action on Wednesday, November 22 against Free State Stars in an Absa Premieship clash.

Kick off is at 18:00.
