Chippa beef up security for Sundowns fixture

Cape Town - The Metro police of Buffalo City Municipality in the Eastern Cape have confirmed that security has been improved for their Premiership clash with Mamelodi Sundowns.

In the wake of the riot between Orlando Pirates and the Brazilians supporters on Saturday, extra precaution has been taken for the first high profile fixture in the newly-developed stadium,

Following the 6-0 thumping of the Buccaneers, Pitso Mosimane's men arrive in Mdantsane in top form against Dan Malesela's side, who've struggled for consistency this season.

Chippa United COO Lukhanyo Mzinzi confirmed the Sisa Dukashe Stadium will be thoroughly prepared for any potential outbreaks of disgruntled fans for the clash on Tuesday - with the Chilli Boys ready to produce a competitive fixture.

"We are happy to bring African champions but I can assure you they won't have the free fall they had over the weekend," he told SABC News.

"This is our hunting ground, we enjoy it a lot here, we don't throw points away - we come here to collect points and move up the table."
