Chiefs wait on Macha's scan results

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs are waiting on the scan results of Zambian striker Lewis Macha.

The exciting new talent injured his ankle during a training session which saw him miss the Platinum Stars and Highlands Park fixture.

According to SuperSport.com website, the scan was done after there was uncertainty to the player’s injury.

Macha has made an immediate impact following his move from Ferroviario Maputo in Mozambique as he scored the winning goal in the Carling Black Label Cup.

Meanwhile, Chiefs will be hoping to build on their Highlands victory when they welcome Maritzburg United to FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
