Cape Town - The Absa Premiership clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United has been postponed by ONE day to accommodate their Telkom Knockout quarter-final fixtures.
The Soweto giants are set to take on arch-rivals Orlando Pirates in the knockout competition on Saturday, November 2 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium while the Chilli Boys entertain Tshwane giants Mamelodi Sundowns at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Sunday.
The scheduled league match between Chiefs and Chippa was set for Tuesday, November 5 but will now be played on the Wednesday, November 6.
STATEMENT RELEASED:
This is to inform our supporters and the media that the PSL match between Chippa United FC and Kaizer Chiefs has been moved to a new date.
The original match which was due to take place on Tuesday, November 5 has now been moved to the following day, Wednesday, November 6.
The game will still be played at the same venue, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium at 19:30.
The game has been postponed to accomodate the Telkom Knockout quarter-final clash between Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns, taking place on Sunday, November 3.
