Chiefs to loan out Baloyi - report

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly preparing to loan out midfielder Lucky Baloyi, with Bloemfontein Celtic, Maritzburg United and Highlands Park all said to be interested in his services.

Baloyi has previously spent time out on loan with Moroka Swallows in 2014/15 and has failed to become a regular starter for the Glamour Boys since he made his return to Naturena.

It appears Chiefs' central midfield department is well stocked, with the likes of Willard Katsande, George Maluleka and Keagan Buchanan seemingly ahead of Baloyi in the pecking order.

As such, Soccer Laduma report that the Mokopane-born star appears set to move away from the club on loan in the January transfer window.

The midfielder has struggled to really make his mark during his seven years with the side.

He did make 16 Premiership appearances last season, but has featured just twice in 2016/17.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
