Chiefs poised to add more fresh faces

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs manager Bobby Motaung has revealed that the club will be signing more players in the current transfer window.

Amakhosi last week unveiled eight new players as they continue their rebuilding process after 20 players were either released or made available for transfer.

Chiefs will be looking to challenge for the Premiership title after losing out to Mamelodi Sundowns last season.

"We will be making announcements on two or three more players coming in soon. We're just busy with negotiations and other logistical issues," Motaung told KickOff.

"The journey of football is funny: sometimes you think having 30 players is good and you find an exceptional player out there and you've got a deal to do, then you do it.

"The window never closes, the issue is having a proper solid squad that is balanced and from there you still look and develop to see where you can add."
