Chiefs' Hadebe wants Champions League crown

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe says he wants to win the CAF Champions League title with the club, after recently signing from Zimbabwe side Chicken Inn.

The 21-year-old has set his sights on winning trophies with the Glamour Boys, despite the fact he will no doubt face stiff competition for a place in central defence against the likes of Eric Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho and Daniel Cardoso.

Nonetheless, the player has expressed confidence he can help play a part to bring silverware to Naturena.

He told the club's official website, "I want to win the CAF Champions League. I have been welcomed by everybody at Kaizer Chiefs, including the office staff.

"I felt at home from the first day. I plan to go to the gym to work out extra and get physically stronger. I am a winner and have a strong winning mentality. I want to help Kaizer Chiefs win lots of trophies."

Hadebe was part and parcel of the Chicken Inn squad that won the Zimbabwean league title in 2015, and he played in the Champions League the following season as well.
