Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs defender Tsepo Masilela says the form of Innocent Maela at Orlando Pirates is encouraging and believes big things lie ahead for the defender.
Maela, who is Masilela's brother, has become a mainstay at left-back for the Sea Robbers and his form has even earned him selection to Bafana Bafana for the upcoming Four Nations tournament involving Zimbabwe, Angola and Zambia.
Speaking to the media, the injured Chiefs left-back, who has been out for the majority of the campaign, said: "Firstly, I am happy for him and congrats to him and he has really done well, he is a decent left back, he is strong, he has got the pace and can deliver.
"I am really happy for him, he must just keep working hard and remain humble. I am quite impressed, he has done well, if you check the number of games he has played and he must not forget that he’s at Pirates (and) there is also competition.
"To be at Pirates and to be a regular in your first season, it is not easy so he has done well, he must just keep on working hard, he has still got a bright future ahead."
