Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has reminded Absa Premiership rivals Kaizer Chiefs that all the pressure is on them to win the title.
The Glamour Boys have been in red-hot form in the league so far this season and have consequently opened up a nine-point lead at the top of the standings.
Masandawana are in second position and fighting hard to prevent Chiefs from taking the league title away from them, but Mosimane admits it will be a titanic struggle to catch Ernst Middendorp's charges.
Mosimane has made a few cheeky jabs at Chiefs regarding the fact that they have a less congested schedule, which helps their players stay fresh while Sundowns compete in the CAF Champions League.
"I know the reaction on benefiting and all that. But it is my opinion, I say what I say. Well-rested teams, yes, they are well-rested. Is it true? Are they (Kaizer Chiefs) well-rested? Yes," said Mosimane, as quoted by IOL.
"But they will say uyahlupha lo (this one is troublesome) and ukhuluma kakhulu (he talks too much). They are fresh and they go and hammer (other teams). That's why I say, it is Chiefs' title to lose."
Mosimane did, however, go on to praise Chiefs for the way they've improved compared to last season when they could only manage ninth place.
He added: "They have done very well for themselves. They win games and they play well, let's be honest.
"Never mind these things that I say about benefits, they have done well. That is not the same team of last year. We have to give them compliments and credit."
