Chiefs add new face to technical team

Cape Town - With their eyes firmly on the Absa Premiership title, Kaizer Chiefs have added a new member to their technical team.

Performance analyst in Sinesipho Mali will join up with Ernst Middendorp's side with a view of improving the technical resources at the German's disposal.

Mali was previously employed in a similar role at Chippa United under Dan Malesela and is currently part of the David Notoane’s technical team at the national under-23 side.

Mali hails from King Williams Town and will join the club's performance and video analyst Mark Davy, as Chiefs prepare for their clash with AmaZulu next week on Tuesday.

The game will take place at Umlazi’s King Zwelithini Stadium, Chiefs website confirmed.

The two teams are sitting on the opposite ends of the Absa Premiership log.

Amakhosi are at the top and Usuthu are at the tail end on the standings.

Last season, Kaizer Chiefs defeated AmaZulu home and away in the league winning the first clash at home 2-0 and then following it up with a 3-2 away victory.

The encounter will kick off at 15:00 at King Zwelithini Stadium.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
