Chabalala won't stay at Celtic beyond his loan deal

Bloemfontein Celtic managing director Ralli Ramabodu has revealed that defender Justice Chabalala will return to Orlando Pirates at the end of the season.

Phunya Sele Sele brought the 28-year-old in on loan in January to provide cover for Ronald Pfumbidzai and Wandisile Letlabika, who were both struck down by injuries.

The loan deal was made for six months, and Ramabodu has confirmed that Chabalala's stay will not be prolonged past that initially agreed upon time frame.

"We signed Chabalala on loan because we missed our players such as Wandi (Letlabika) and Pfumbidzai. Wandisile is back and he's playing now," Ramabodu told Isolezwe.

"We are looking to have Ronald back before the end of the season. That means we don't have a place for Chabalala in the team.

"He will go back to Pirates at the end of the season as per our agreement."

Chabalala has made five appearances for Celtic in all competitions since joining on loan in January.
