Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic will look to break their winless streak in the Absa Premiership when they host Bidvest Wits at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium

Celtic’s winless run was stretched to nine matches when they were beaten 1-0 at regional rivals Free State Stars on January 23.

The Bloemfontein side has claimed seven points from six home matches this season.

Phunya Sele Sele are placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with 17 points from 15 matches.

Wits recorded their biggest win of the season when they crushed Polokwane City 5-0 on January 22.

The Johannesburg side has claimed 13 points from seven away matches this season.

The Clever Boys are placed second on the Absa Premiership log with 32 points from 15 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Celtic and Wits have met in 52 league matches since 1985.
