Celtic coach impressed by Pirates

Cape Town - Bloemfontein Celtic head coach Veselin Jelusic admits that he was impressed by Orlando Pirates as his side suffered a defeat to the Soweto giants on Sunday.

Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic led his team to the narrow 1-0 win over Phunya Sele Sele at the Dr Molemela Stadium, getting one over his fellow Serbian Jelusic, who had been Sredojevic's professor at university.

"We knew that it was going to be a tough game for us as we said before Orlando Pirates are one of the best teams in the country," Jelusic said.

"They play very attractive, very creative football, with a lot of changes in space. They're a very dynamic team. It was not easy to control them but we tried our best.

"We had one or two chances to score unfortunately we didn't. They scored the chance they had and so congratulations to them."
