Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs will be without Colombian marksman Leonardo Castro for their clash against Free State Stars due to an ankle injury.
The 29-year-old suffered the injury during Saturday's 4-1 win over Cape Town City, having been forced off after only 30 minutes.
The news was confirmed on the Amakhosi Twitter account, which also suggested that defender Erick Mathoho will miss the game as well.
"Castro is out with an ankle injury. Mathoho is nursing a groin injury. [Joseph] Molangoane is strengthening at the gym. We wish them all a speedy recovery."
Castro has been in the process of forming a deadly partnership with Khama Billiat this season since the two former Mamelodi Sundowns strikers reunited at Chiefs.
Amakhosi coach Giovanni Solinas however has plenty of options for the trip to his former team, including Bernard Parker, Ryan Moon and Gustavo Paez.
