Cape Town - Cape Town City have announced the signing of Ghana youth international defender Joseph Adjei from Wa All Stars.
Adjei arrives at the new Premiership side from the Ghana Premier League and becomes the club's fourth defensive reinforcement after the signings of Tshepo Gumede, Ebrahim Seedat and Robyn Johannes.
"We are excited to welcome Ghanaian international, Joseph Adjei (20) to Cape Town City FC," read a statement on the club's official Twitter account.
The club have also confirmed the capture of former Amajita vice-captain Gershin Kock from ABC Motsepe League side Steenberg, with the 23-year-old set to compete with Samora Motloung and Shu-aib Walters for the first-team gloves.
City have been active in the transfer market this off season with 12 new signings - as they look to assemble a squad capable of competing in the Premiership under the tutelage of coach Eric Tinkler.
