CAF final a dream come true for Kekana

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana says that reaching the CAF Champions League with the Premiership champions is a dream come true.

The Chloorkop-based outfit advanced to the final after a 3-2 aggregate win over Zesco United in the semi-final.

Sundowns overcame a 2-1 deficit from the first-leg to win 2-0 in the second leg at home at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday.

"It's just a dream for me to play for such a big team like Sundowns and to reach the final of the Champions League," Kekana told SuperSport.

"It's a nice feeling for us to be in the final. I have watched champions league before when I was in school when my heroes Jerry Skhosana and Mark Fish were there playing.

"We should be grateful as players because all we have wanted to do was to play football and with these many games that we facing we ought to be happy to play football."
