Brockie on Kaizer Chiefs' radar

Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly assessing whether or not to sign out of favour Mamelodi Sundowns striker Jeremy Brockie.

The New Zealand international has struggled for form for Sundowns since joining the club from SuperSport United in January 2018.

With Ryan Moon heading through the exit door at Chiefs while Leonardo Castro has been transfer-listed, it seems Chiefs are searching for replacements in attack.

Brockie scored over 50 goals in all competitions for United over three seasons and seems to possess the goal-scoring pedigree Amakhosi need in front of goal.

Sundowns are said to be looking to offload the 31-year-old who managed just one Premiership strike in 2018/19.

Soccer Laduma report that the player could be a target though the assessment is ongoing as to whether or not to procure his services.

Brockie has a deal that extends until the 2023 season however it seems likely he will be plying his trade elsewhere in future, be it on a loan move or a permanent contract.
