Booysen seals SuperSport return

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mario Booysen has sealed a return to SuperSport United on a season-long loan ahead of the 2016/17 Absa Premiership campaign.

Booysen will resume his stay at Matsatsantsa after spending the second half of last season with the Nedbank Cup winners.

The 27-year-old had openly expressed his wish not to return to the Brazilians, where competition for places is tough.

"At least I can look forward to joining SuperSport again," Booysen told KickOff.

"I've been training with the reserves at Sundowns keeping fit in the meantime. I shall probably hook up with SuperSport tomorrow and I'm really excited that are taking shape again.

"I'm just happy things have worked out and both parties are happy."
