Cape Town - Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat has revealed that he is sort of the person that will never be happy with his performance and always striving to improve.
Billiat has formed a potent attacking trio with Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurkovic to help the Amakhosi to the top of the table.
The Zimbabwean has only scored once in 10 appearances, which he admits is not good enough for a player of his calibre, but took solace from the fact that the team is winning.
"Obviously I’ll never be happy with my performance. I always want to do better, I always want to contribute as much as I can but I’m happier when the team is doing well," Billiat told KickOff.
"When everyone is scoring goals from different angles, it gives us more depth. At this moment, I don’t think it would be fair to be selfish and look at how I’m doing.
"The team is doing well; I look at how well we’re doing, and I just want to contribute in a positive way that helps the team win as many games as we can. It’s not about me."
Chiefs will be aiming to move a step closer to lifting their first piece of silverware when they face Maritzburg United in the semi-finals of the Telkom Knockout on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 15:00.
