Cape Town - Khama Billiat has spoken of his admiration for Kaizer Chiefs coach Giovanni Solinas and says he enjoys working with the Italian at Naturena.

The Amakhosi pair was announced as the Premiership Coach and Player of the Month for September on Thursday.

Solinas has on several occasions singled out Billiat as the best player in the Premiership, and the Zimbabwean star has expressed his gratitude for the support of his coach.

“I'm grateful to have a coach like him (Solinas), but most importantly it's about the team,” Billiat told KickOff website.

“We all know him, and he's like that with everyone in training. I don't see something special in it, he's always like that.

“I'm grateful for the love that he has for me, and I love him too, just like everyone. I love the relationship that I have with him.”

Amakhosi are up against Polokwane City on Saturday evening at the FNB Stadium.

Kick-off is at 18:00.
