Billiat: I'm living my dream at Chiefs

Cape Town - Khama Billiat says playing for Kaizer Chiefs is a dream come true after making his Premiership debut for the club in the 1-1 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Zimbabwe international joined Chiefs as a free agent following the expiry of his contract at Sundowns and is adamant he has a lot to offer at Naturena.

Billiat stated that he expects a tough season for the Glamour Boys as they aim to bring back the glory days after three trophy less seasons.

Giovanni Solinas' side will take on Bidvest Wits on Tuesday at the FNB Stadium in their second match of the new campaign.

"This is a dream, I'm living my dream," Billiat told SuperSport. "Chiefs are a great team. Everyone wants to play for Chiefs and I have always wanted to play for them even before I came this side.

"It feels great and I'm and happy. Everything has got its time and I had to wait. I feel like this is the right time.

"I'm looking forward to the team's goal going forward. I think every team goes to a point whereby you do not win something for couple of seasons, but it all comes back and I'm sure we all want to achieve to take the team back where it belongs. It's not going to be an easy season."
