Billiat: CBD trio are all hard workers

Cape Town - Mamelodi Sundowns striker Khama Billiat says that communication is the most important aspect in the successful relationship formed with teammates Keagan Dolly and Leonardo Castro.

Speaking to the PSL's official website, the skillful Zimbabwean highlighted the need to analyse segments of the game as a trio.

"If you look at it, we are all hard workers, with the ball, without the ball," he said.

"We understand each other, we speak to each other, we watch games together, and we see our mistakes."

The attacking-trio known as "CBD" is seen as a major driving-force behind the side clinching the Absa Premiership title this season, and they have bagged a combined total of 25 goals for Pitso Mosimane's side.

Billiat is Masandawana's top goal-scorer, having netted 11 goals in the PSL thus far and the former Ajax Cape Town man credited his team-mates for their help in allowing the partnership to flourish.

"The credit must always go to the team, they supported us, they motivated us, and they believed in us. And they spoke to each other, giving us responsibility."
