Bibo, Banda and Madubanya set to exit Baroka

Cape Town - Baroka are reportedly set to release midfielders Letladi Madubanya and Thandani Ntshumayelo as well as defender Abdi Banda.

All three players failed to secure regular playing time under coach Wedson Nyirenda in 2018/19 and are said to now be surplus to requirements with Bakgaga.

35-year-old Madubanya made just nine Premiership appearances whereas Banda featured just 13 times while scoring one goal.

Meanwhile, Ntshumayelo's return to professional football following a ban for using cocaine has not yet proved successful as the 29-year-old managed just 35 minutes of action for the outfit from Limpopo.

The team have already earmarked some replacements with Malawi international Richard Mbulu signing on a three-year deal.

Baroka boss Khurishi Mphahlele said an official announcement would be made soon regarding those that are leaving.

He told KickOff: "Yes we will be releasing those players that were not playing, but at this stage, I can't reveal names."

He added that influential defender Vusi Sibiya would not be departing, saying: "He is not leaving, we not selling our player."
