Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter wants his players to recycle the ball better after clinching their first Premiership win of the season in midweek.
Matsatsantsa secured a 1-0 victory over Maritzburg United through a Thuso Phala strike at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Wednesday.
Baxter will be looking to use their momentum to power his side to victory against Free State Stars at the King Zwelethini Stadium on Saturday.
"We have to be better in possession of the ball, we've got to make sure that we can diffuse situations just by securing the ball," he told SuperSport.
"You know sometimes football is possession, sometimes football is just keeping the ball away from your opponent, not giving it back to them.
"So we've got to be a bit better at that, and have to be smart enough to know between that and hitting very quickly.
"I think the lads defended their goals, their box, very bravely and very well. I would have liked it to be a bit more controlled. I thought it got out of control a bit.
"That's not helped by the permanent complaining about every decision made on the field I suppose from the coaches. All in all, I think it's a good result for us."
