Baxter to plan thoroughly for cup final

Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter is wary of Orlando Pirates' knockout competition experience ahead of the Nedbank Cup final on 28 May.

Matsatsantsa advanced to the final after a 2-0 win over Baroka FC, while Pirates overcame Free State Stars 4-2 on Saturday.

Baxter expressed his respect for the Buccaneers, who in recent season have come to be regarded as cup specialists.

"Pirates are good team. They play quickly, they are good at that. They play with pace and like committing many players forward," Baxter told KickOff.

"They're a good side, a good cup side, they have shown that in the African club competitions. It's going to be a difficult game.

"I know Tinkler has got better and better with Pirates. At the moment they are a difficult side to play against, especially in a Cup final."
