Baxter hopes to instill 'winning culture' at SSU

Cape Town - SuperSport United coach Stuart Baxter reveals that creating a winning culture is one of his projects since joining the club.

According to KickOff, Baxter says that his time at Kaizer Chiefs is already different to that of United having had the opportunity to bring in players at the Naturena side.

“It is similar in as much as SuperSport United have won titles. I haven’t won one in a while. I want get to those silverware-winning ways the same as Chiefs,” says Baxter.

“The difference is that I came in mid-season and not at the beginning of the season. I was not able to make signings at the moment and probably strengthen the team, and I didn’t have a pre-season to put the structure in place like I did at Chiefs.”

“This project is about creating a winning culture, creating a club that can move forward every season,” he adds.

Baxter faces his former employers on Saturday, February 20 at Cape Town Stadium.
