Cape Town - AmaTuks head coach Shaun Bartlett is hoping that the midweek 2-2 draw against Free State Stars will renew his side's appetite for goals.
The match against Stars was Bartlett's second since taking charge, the first having ended in a 2-0 loss to Platinum Stars.
With the university side struggling in second last place on the standings, Bartlett is looking for any positives to take into their next match, against Orlando Pirates at the Tuks Stadium on Saturday.
"It was good to see the team scoring goals, which has been a problem in the past, and that will give the players confidence," he told The Sowetan.
However, having seen his side relinquishing a 2-0 lead against Stars, the former Bafana Bafana striker also points out that concentration levels need to be stepped up at the back.
"We will need to stay more focused defensively, that is the major message we need to give to the players. It was obviously disappointing not to get the full points. But it is also important we stay positive and move on quickly," he said.
