Baroka's Nguzana happy to return with a goal

Cape Town - Baroka FC striker Lucky Nguzana was a happy man to score a goal in his return from a two month injury layoff during Sunday’s Absa Premiership 2-1 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.

The lanky striker put Baroka FC ahead against the Brazilians, but was cancelled out by a header from Wayne Arendse before Percy Tau scored the winner for Sundowns late in the match.

However, Nguzana, who replaced injury Gift Motupa in the starting line-up, after a two month absence said there were a lot of positives to be taken from Sunday's defeat to the league leaders.

Nguzana told Supersport: "Look, the game was not easy, but I think the guys played well. Everyone gave like 100% today and I’m happy with the opportunity I got.

"Though it was my first game in two months, I think I played well.

"Yeah, I was surprised to start the game as I’m coming back from injury, but I am happy."
